NEW ZEALAND RABBITS
NEW ZEALAND WHITES
I have meat production stock bred for a large even-sized litter with fast maturing animals with good meat to bone ratio and some compact pedigreed show-quality available occasionally also. Most fryers are weighing 4-5 pounds in only 56-60 days, much sooner than industry standard of 65-70 days. Shorter time to target weight means lower feed costs and milk-fed tender fryers. Meat to bone ratio is high. Does are great mothers and produce even-sized kits in a large litter and are in high demand. Bucks are prolific, producing well past what many commercial breeders would consider "old age." Original production stock was crossed with show stock bloodlines from Knieling's and Riggle's. Some lines carry other nationally well known breeders farther up the pedigree as I have had my lines for many years now. I have now proudly added Manuel Hidalgo's line into my show and production stock. Breeding stock, fryers and feeders are available frequently but I would recommend you pre-order them to guarantee availability when requested.
I would like to thank Vern Palmblad for my herd buck, Palmblad's I15, "Highway"! He is now 2 years old with a great disposition and he's built like a big furry brick, as shown above and below. His lines are almost all from Manuel Hidalgo and Crawford's, with Vern's great instinct for combining lines to produce this great buck.
Palmblad's I-15 is now a registered Grand Champion!!

NEW ZEALAND REDS
Still a little smaller than my NZ White stock, but still good for meat production stock and pedigreed show quality also. Bloodlines from Hidalgo's, Snavely's, Kirby's, Coyote Ridge, FW's,CFF, Holding Gold and Neitzel's.
BLUE AND BLACK NEW ZEALANDS
I acquired a black buck Harris XU3,from Jean Harris of WA, shown at left, who is now a little bit sunburned(he wasn't when I got him!) He likes to keep his tan up...he has a very glossy coat, good disposition. He arrived with a winning broken black doe, Harris TU52, with 2 legs already! She and her kits are shown below. They carry Esterline, Mangione, Klindt, Combs, Shafer and Crawford lines. The blues and blacks complement each other nicely and should make some great babies later this year.
Harris TU52 is really producing winning stock.
The Broken Black doe I R B52 took BOB in Show A, RVRCF in Grants Pass,2011.
Another son, I R Dasher, from her Christmas 2011 litter won 2 BOB at Pear Blossom RBA show 2012!!
IR CUPID, son of Harris TU 52 shown at 6 weeks
This wonderful little buck is from the above litter and has almost no stray white hairs in his blanket. He is now living in CA in his new home and hopefully will be seen at shows this year as he matures.
A NOTE ON FRYERS AND FEEDERS
I now have a market for almost all of my breeding stock and meat rabbits. If you are interested in breeding or show stock, and most particularly for a meat pen, I would highly recommend pre-ordering them. Tell me what parents, or ask about planned breedings. Show stock available occasionally.
As stated elsewhere on this website, fryers are sold by live weight, but will be incapable of reproduction. I have unfortunately had too many people get fryers and then breed them or show them, which resulted in a BOB at a show,(which was great) but I hope people will be honest, because I will be honest with them. Again, please note that all fryers are not able to be bred and feeders are from dwarf breeds.
Fryers and feeders are unfortunately not available as often and I would definitely pre-order them to guarantee availability when requested. Order yours now!
